    Glaucoma

Latanoprost, travoprost, and bimatoprost are analogs of prostaglandin F2α. They act on prostanoid receptors and increase aqueous outflow. Duration of action is at least 24 hours, so patients are treated with one dose a day. The prostaglandin analogs are the most commonly prescribed glaucoma medications today.
