    Epithelial ingrowth appears as a grayish, sheetlike growth on the endothelial surface of the cornea, usually originating from a surgical incision or traumatic wound. The epithelial ingrowth shown here originated from a glaucoma surgery incision, causing peripheral anterior synechiae.
